The Bay of Islands is a very attractive anchorage for many visiting cruise ships. They anchor in the Bay and ‘tender’ their passengers into the wharf at Waitangi. Blah Blah Marketing work with the Bay of Islands Cruise Ship committee to ensure that our ‘Port Rating’ i.e customer satisfaction levels. Remain high!
This is achieved in several ways
- Blah Blah Marketing and their team of committed “Cruise ship ambassadors” provide the warm welcome to passengers that arrive ashore , we provide a helpful precis on what is on offer in the port they have disembarked in. Our ambassadors have specific training to ensure they remain unbiased and cover all ‘need to know’ information useful to these important visitors during their short stay.
- Blah Blah provide those business that are part of the ‘cruise ship ambassador scheme’ with timely information on the arrivals (and any changes to the schedule) of these vessels and their passengers to shore – to make sure that the businesses and the region are ready for the influx of these passengers and provide a fantastic experience.
- Blah Blah ‘press release’ through online media these arrival details for the wider community.
- Blah Blah work with the committee providing the administration and the back bone that is needed for this volunteer group, organising meetings, writing up minutes etc – Yup we do the ‘donkey work’!
We are going to have a busy 2015 – 2016 season! Click below for all arrivals.
